Creamline so Special?
The Creamline Story
Over 70 years since its launch, Creamline remains very much a family company. Founded in 1945 by Peter Roe, Creamline initially supplied businesses in Trafford Park and Worsley. Recognising the potential in the growing doorstep delivery market Peter began canvassing furiously and for many years Creamline was a successful doorstep delivery company.
The business was acquired from the Roe family in 1994 by Tony Swallow, the former Managing Director of Heald's Dairies in Didsbury and since then, with Tony at the helm as Executive Chairman, Creamline has been run by his son, Chris and son-in-law Rob Purvis, who are joint managing directors.
Creamline has grown to be one of the leading independent dairy companies in the UK, recently acquiring the North West local delivery business of Dairy Crest.
Combining the best of traditional values with innovative methods - to ensure its service is as fresh as its product – Creamline Online, the dairy’s doorstep delivery service combines all that’s great about the traditional milk round, with a relevant, hassle-free online service and an extended range of products. Modernising the image of the milk round, it’s not just milk that the dairy delivers, but a full range of fridge and store cupboard essentials that would normally call for a trip to the convenience store.
Creamline is dedicated to reducing food miles and working with local farms and suppliers: all its milk produce is sourced from within a 30 mile radius of the dairy, with other essentials like bread and eggs also sourced from local suppliers.
As well as doorstep deliveries, from its purpose built processing and bottling plant in Eccles, Creamline caters for the wholesale, catering and shop markets in Greater Manchester.
Thanks to Creamline, in the time it takes to boil the kettle, you could order your convenience store essentials online for doorstep delivery.
