Cream of the Community Fund 2026
At Creamline, we believe in giving back to our local communities. That’s why, thanks to the generosity of our lottery players, we’re so excited to be continuing the Cream of the Community Fund in 2026 – an initiative designed to celebrate and support the incredible work being done by local charities and good causes in the Manchester, Cheshire and Wirral areas.
What is the Cream of the Community Fund?
Five charities nominated by you will each receive £500 to support the good work they do. Whether it’s a local charity, community group, neighbourhood initiative or a youth project, we want to hear about the causes that matter most to you.
The Creamline team will choose the winners based on the nominations we receive, focusing on the positive impacts it will have on the local community.
How can I nominate my cause?
Nominating your cause for the Cream of the Community Fund only takes a minute. You just need to fill out the form to tell us the name of your charity or good cause, and why you think they deserve the donation.
Last year, Olympias Music Foundation received one of the donations after this lovely nomination from Jenni:
“Olympias provides free weekly instrumental lessons to 150 children from low-income, refugee, and asylum-seeker families in Manchester, offering access to music education, theatre trips, concerts, and public performances.
“Since 2015, they have delivered nearly 27,000 free lessons, with many students progressing to prestigious programs like the RNCM Pathfinder scheme and the Halle Youth Choir. Beyond music, Olympias fosters confidence, friendship, and a sense of belonging - proving that music is for everyone. And above all, it’s fun!”
Please note that you can only nominate one cause and nominations will close on January 7th 2026. You can read the full terms and conditions at the bottom of this page.
Causes you’ve helped us to support
Part of what makes the Cream of the Community Fund so special is the range of local causes that our community nominates. Here are just some of the organisations who received funding last year:
- Together Dementia Support
- St Rocco's Hospice
- Salford Survivor Project
- Olympias Music Foundation
- The Fox Rescuers
These donations can make a huge difference to the charities that receive them. For example, The Fox Rescuers, run by Paul McDonald and Carol Gowrie, rely on donations to provide medical care, food, and shelter for sick and injured foxes. Their work protects local wildlife and the wider ecosystem, and helps to educate people on protecting the animals that live near them.
